UsageMeter

A Konfabulator Widget for users of Australia's Internode ADSL Service

Installation

1) This software requires MacOS X

3) If you haven't already done so, install Konfabulator

3) drag the widget into your Documents/Widgets folder (or elsewhere)

4) Double click the widget to launch it

5) Enter you Internode username and password in the Preferences.

Usage

UsageMeter is very easy to use. You usage for the chargin period is indicated in MB. A white arrow indicates how far into your charging period you are, and a coloured progress bar shows what fraction of your allocated usage you have used.

If you are on track to stay under your limit, the usage the bar will green.

If you are on track to go over you limit, the usage the bar will orange.

If you are already over your limit, the bar will be red (and the estimated cost will be shown).

Note that UsageMeter only queries Internode's servers once per hour, but that sometimes the usage figure is seveal hours or more out of date.
