While this software is no substitute for commercial backup applications, it does have the advantages that it is very simple (unlike Retrospect), runs on MacOS 9 and OSX (unlike iMsafe), does not require a .Mac account (unlike Apple Backup) and is here now* (unlike the upcoming Leopard's Time Machine).
On the down side, it does not support scheduling, cannot initiate network volume connections, and restores must be done manually. However as an alternative to having NO backups, or for simple home setups, it fits the bill perfectly! Finally, like all HMS Software, it is FREE!!
How to use:
1. Drop your source folder on the Source tile
2. Drop your backup folder, network volume or hard drive onto the Backup tile
3. Click Add
